Twas a strange Thanksgiving this year, only 13 family members on my mother's side gathered instead of...too many to count! Not as many people, but very nice none the less! I got to get out of my room and have a few laughs with the family, that is what's most important. As soon as Thanksgiving was over my mother and step dad decorated the house for x-mas. I woke up one day to the sound of my mom singing like an elf...o_O

Sadly, I have still yet to celebrate Thanksgiving or x-mas with my love; at least not on the actual holiday. Lindsay and I will celebrate x-mas in a few weeks when I visit December 12th-15th. She already knows what I got her but we will be happy just to see each other! I will never take living with her for granted because I know how much it hurts to be away from her for so long. Long distance relationships are not easy but I wouldn't say its hard. Not when you love a person so much, I am comforted by the fact that she is in my life and eventually we will be closer. Just being able to talk to her on the phone or video chat while working on a paper is a blessing. She's always in my heart, on my mind, and a digital signal away!

For our first x-mas together, we hardly knew each other as we do now but we got each other rings. She gave me a (heart) ring that matched my personality and style, it was different than most you might find. It was the best gift I ever received because it meant she understood me right from the start and would trust me with her heart. In '08 I wanted to learn how to snowboard with her so I bought her a snowboard(just the board)! We had a blast on the mountains in PA and NH! This year I got her an iPod Nano so we can record while on the mountain and on the go with ease. :}

My journey with Lindsay has been filled with smiles, laughter, and high emotion. Nothing and no one has ever affected me with such intensity. She shows me love and how much she cares when I am down and it brings me back to my feet. How can I stay sad when I know she loves me?! When I am with her, nothing can really get me down. Even when I can't hold her hand or kiss her because I'm afraid for our safety...I know we are strong and it makes me want to love her even more. People who go out of their way to make us feel insignificant only make me want to show them our compassion even more.

Wheelman Bushpig & Xcite Bike!!!

Since I began snowboarding this winter, I've had the urge to skateboard again! I want to do anything that will give me the rush I feel when boarding, I could live without the wipe outs, though. Even though I'm only a begginer at snowboarding, once I got the hang of if, I just wanted more and more; why isn't it snowing right now!!!

Well I've tried Wii Fit with Wii Ski and Snowboard and broke out my skateboard(which I haven't really used in years), but it's just not the same as snowboarding! Yesterday I discovered this amazing Australian fuel powered machine known as the Wheelman! I've posted the video below. After viewing the Wheelman video, I immediately wanted to get one...the only problem is, it's hard to find and fairly expensive(especially in today's economy). There are two models that I know of so far, Bushpig(2006) and Xcite Bike(2008). I really hope the Wheelman gains popularity in the U.S. so they come out with more models to choose from and hopefully lower the price!

I'm learning a lot about Flash Ads and Google Ad Manager! As you may know, I have been learning how to make Flash ads at work. So, to practice, I made a few test ads at home and am going to set them up on this blog using Ad Manager. I hope to learn more about web design as well! I have been silent for too long, expect more vlogs and blogs from me this spring/summer! Looks like school work beckons this weekend, though. Ttyl, peace!

What is this emotion? Feels like...I'm floating in the air! The warm breeze against my face, sun on my back and weightless sensation! I don't think I can express this feeling through words alone! My mind has numbed my body of all pain. Nothing can bring me down now. My problems, so trivial compared to this illuminating passion I feel! Could this be the one? Once we crossed paths I felt something in me, larger than before. Her words linger in my head for days, even in my dreams I see her pretty face. Nothing ever felt so right. I've yet to hold her in my arms, but the day draws near. I'll hold on forever I swear! I love you!

Why'd you have to be so perfect!

Ok, so 2 days after my last post I added this girl as a friend on my MySpace. Her name is Lindsay and shes 19 from PA. Right away I had this feeling that we have met before, her face looked familiar. Despite the distance, I really want to meet her. I fear that I may be actin' a fool and it's all too obvious I'm crushin' on her! I can't explain this feeling...a simple comment keeps me happy all day! So here I am hoping she feels the same way in the slightest. Here I am about to explode waiting for the answer. By now I'd have surely scared her away though, right? It's hard for me to tell if she's just being nice commenting me back. She seems really nice, like someone I could be best friends with...maybe more. Her smile is so beautiful! My mind is racing. So, do I wait untill we know eachother better to let her know how I feel? Or will that make it harder to think of us as anything more than friends?! Maybe I will crack and just show her my blog! I mean, If she doesn't think she could ever like me in that way, I'd rather know now so I don't get my hopes up. It would even hurt now but it's my fault for falling so easily. I think we live about 350 miles or so away from eachother, about 6.5 hours apart. Help me out guys!! Argh, she's exactly what I'm looking for! Either way, it's only the beggining of our relationship(friends or otherwise).

Long time coming...

Ok, so after nearly a year hiatus...I am finally back! This time I will actually post once in a while! First off let me get this thing started by telling you, even if you know me irl...you will probably learn something new about me through this blog! Most of my friends haven't even watched my YouTube vlogs, so I don't expect many readers at all. So, by now you have probably noticed that I use run-on sentences. I really do want to change that though! Hopefully I can improve my writing throughout this blog.

My name is Ashley, I'm 21 and live in NH with my mom and step dad. I have a younger brother, sister, and half sister who live with my dad. My brother Richie is 19, we used to skateboard and hang out a lot but I haven't seen him much the past few years. My sister Brittany is 17, we are pretty much best friends now, though we weren't that close growing up. Our half sister Arianna is just a few months old now!

Relationship background: When I was 19 I came out as bisexual, leaning towards women. The first 2 weeks of October 2005 I went out with my best friend Melinda. When she broke up with me I was really depressed. Two weeks later(Halloween) I started going out with a guy(Jon), a year later we were engaged and I lived with him for the last 4 months of our relationship. Everyday I seemed to think about women more and more. I finally came out as a lesbian(and broke up with Jon) August 17th, 2007 after a Melissa Ferrick and Indigo Girls concert. I've felt many things since then. Mainly free, like myself, alive, ready for life and love again. I also felt tired of being alone and anxious. No matter what though, I know who I am and am glad I can finally BE who I truly am!

Music: Music has helped me through the hardest times of my life. Whether I am alone or with friends, music is always there. It can make or break me if I hear the right song at the right time. When I was 9 my parents got divorced and I started listening to Alanis Morissette. Been a fan ever since! When I was in 4th grade I showed interest in learning to play the guitar to my music teacher and the next year we had 30 guitars and a bunch of happy 5th graders! I've played guitar on and off since then, 6 months with a professional teacher, and then I chose to just use tablature instead of sheet music. Sometimes I am phsycic with music or certain people. A few times I have just thought of a random song I like and when i got in my car it was on the radio! I love to feel that connection. After I graduated from high school in 2004, I basically had a year off of school and work. Towards the end of this time I became really depressed. Everyday I had been stressed about getting a job, and life in general. I had stayed in my room the majority of that year, but once I finally got my life on track, I realized how powerful music can be. It has made me smile when I was sad before work, made me feel not alone when I was depressed, and made me feel hopeful when I thought I was just stuck. You should also know that I love many types of music, from folk to heavy metal, techno, and hip hop to orchestra. Since August, I've been listening to a LOT of Melissa Ferrick and Tegan and Sara! Oh yeah, and I met Melissa Ferrick in P-Town 2 weeks ago, OMFG SHES AMAZING! I talked with her and hugged her a few times, I even cried!

Daily life: I currently work at a newspaper company as a "Digital Imaging Operator"(tone photos, paginate classifieds, process ads, scan photos, ect.) When I get home from work around 4am, I turn on my PC, check yourdailylesbianmoment.blogspot.com, MySpace, YouTube, e-mail and WoW mail. Then I get sucked into any combination of those things 'till I go to sleep around 8am! THANK YOU ARLAN FOR yourdailylesbianmoment.blogspot.com, YOU ROCK! When I get up I think about how great it will be to have a girlfriend. All day at work, all night/morning while online, every second I'm awake, every dream I have when I'm asleep, I think of girls. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be in a relationship for the sake of being in a relationship. I want to find someone who I can truly connect with.

The most constant theme I have in my life is the yearning to connect with people, to really have a deep connection with them. I think that is why I always love with all of my heart. Completely honest and open, no walls. If I love you, you will feel it! I enjoy the simple things in life, holding hands, smiling, cuddling.

So where do I go, what do I do, how do I find this girl? Get me out of this lonely routine, I want to be addicted to you, I swear I'll pay the monthly fees!

Hello, This is my first blog post! I am a resident of Second Life, an online metaverse where you can design/build/script/animate things! I joined SL June 4, 2004! My business in SL is called DragonChiq Designs, I sell all sort's of thing's like clothing, tattoo's, swords, casino games, and much more!
